If you're interested in flying for fun, The Flying School offers a range of flight training programs to help get you off the ground. The Private Pilots License is the first step in your journey. It requires an average of 7-9 months and will allow you to fly single engine aircraft with passengers. This gives you the freedom to:

Obtain your instrument rating.
The instrument pilot flight training program takes your general aviation experience to the next level. With this rating, you will be allowed to fly Instrument Flight Rules (IFR), which greatly opens up the weather conditions you can fly in. This rating requires extensive cross-country flights, half of which can be done in our AATD simulator in Loveland.
